After months of hard work from our development team, we are pleased to announce the release of our ScannerVision Fax Solutions. ScannerVision Fax is the new innovative solution that will provide paperless fax retrieval in your work place.

Officially launched by one of our leading South African partners in April 2012, the ScannerVision Fax Solution has caught the attention of many vendors and feedback from users have so far been remarkable.

How does it work?

The Fax Solution from ScannerVision, allows users to transform their normal MFP into a fax machine with the fax to email function.

When a user would like to send information to a recipent, there are two common ways of achieving this goal:

• Sending an email
• Sending a fax

When sending a fax the traditional way, the user of the MFP device will insert the document, select the fax function and type in the desired fax number, leaving room for typo errors as well as undeliverable faxes.

With ScannerVision Fax, the user of the MFP device will insert the document into the MFP, select the destination in the address book or type the fax number and ScannerVision Fax will take care of the rest.

The sender will intern receive real time delivery reports with the sent document attached for reference. If the file was unable to send due to the destination number being unavailable, ScannerVision Fax will try to resend the fax with 10 minute intervals till delivered, while notifying the after each try.

• ScannerVision Fax Solutions requires only internet access on the network, thus enabling the clients to send faxes over any data network, i.e. ADSL, Wireless, 3G, satellite and any other data connection.
• No more waiting for for faxes to retry before another fax is sent. Once the fax is sent the retries etc. will take place on behalf of ScannerVision Fax Solution thus enabling the client to send more faxes out much faster.
• Cost saving on the fax board not being part of the machine package but only with the ScannerVision Fax Solution client on the device.
• Different cost centres for billing can be set up for a client regarding the sending of faxes.
